The next morning, the six of us (Kim and Matt from South Africa, Hannah and Joe from England, Michi and I) met Valerio our guide, driver and cook for the next days. We also got to see our car and were relieved to see that it was quite new, spacious and had tires with profile.
The tour was great. Strangely the tours are mainly promoted as “Salar de Uyuni” tours, which is only partly true as you see a lot more. In those three days we drove over 800km, went up to over 4700m asl and saw volcanoes, lagoons and deserts. Important to mention, our car never brook down and the food was delicious.
It is hard to describe all the awesome things we saw, therefore, just enjoy the pictures.
PS: If you wonder about all the other guys… well, all the tours are the same.
PPS: It is low season as it is rain season.
